I like the phaser effect from this unit….it is more subtle that your usual Phase 90 or other similar offerings. You’ve got to turn up pretty much all the knobs all the way to get the thing to act really crazy…and even then !
However, all the shades in between leading up to that mayhem provide your core sound with some really nice textures. Adds that nice phaser «swoosh» in a subtle manner. It also smooths out your single notes in all of the right places ! Almost sounds like a wah at certain settings and at certain parts of the phasing rotation. The controls are very interactive with each other, giving you a lot of versatility and available sounds at your disposal !
Round and round it goes. From the spinning speaker sounds of the 60’s and 70’s the phaser has become an important part of any effects arsenal. Studio-quiet is the watch word.
